Daily Prophet2

I printed out the first version I made but I didn't like it.  It was lacking that crammed hodgepodge feeling of fun.  So I put in more columns, both formatting and written, then scalled down the font and made everything a little off kilter.  I hope you like it as much as me.

Room Decor

I'm going to drape my living room in fabric with some Christmas lights hung from the ceiling to get the cozy party feeling.  I'm hoping to make it like the Gryffindor common room. I hope it works.

Butter Beer

After visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Cici and her chef father decided to try to simulate the butterbeer as close as they could. Looks like they got it pretty close! Great job Cici!

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients
  • 2 12-ounce bottles of Cream Soda (not diet)
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons Butterscotch Sundae Topping Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Reddi Whip Canned Whip Topping

Directions:

Step 1: Measure 1 1/2 teaspoons Butterscotch Topping Syrup into each of the glasses or mugs (Chilled mugs works great).

Step 2: Add a 1/4 cup of cream soda into each glass and stir with a spoon until butterscotch topping is completely mixed in with the soda. Set aside.

Step 3: For the Foam - Combine the Reddi WHip, the remaining 1 1/2 teaspoons of Butterscotch Syrup, and 1/2 tablespoon of cream soda in a small bowl. Stir until well combined.

Step 4: To Finish - Pour the remaining Cream Soda into the Glass or mug. Spoon the foam mixture slowly into the center of the glass until it reaches the sides of the glass.

You can enjoy this right away or let stand for 1-2 minutes to get the full effect and look of the WWOHP Butterbeer. ENJOY!!!

Chocolate Frog box take 2

I cropped off the tabs and tried to even out the gold tones so that they were more uniform.  I love making the blue fade.  I think it's freaking awesome!  I hope you like it too.

This is what I want my invitations to look like once I finally have time to print them.  I can't wait to deliver these!

Chocolate Frog

I spent hours searching for the perfect chocolate frog template online, and even ones you pay for aren't close to perfect.

So I got basic templates and modified them so that the colors were correct and everything else was as perfect as I require.

The hardest part was the chocolate frog card.  I used the large picture from Honey dukes with Salazar Sytherin on it and hand painted over it, several hours later voila!

I figured that I can't be the only serious harry potter fan who is searching for the chocolate frog box and chocolate frog cards.  So here are the templates completely free,  I don't think i'm violating any copy right laws, but if I am please KINDLY tell me.  Enjoy!

To make this I copied the template from http://mugglenet.tumblr.com/post/1481069049/chocolate-frog-box  then doctored the colors to make them prettier. I also then cut in the circle on the base so that the bottom wasn't some lame nutrition label.  Once I finish my chocolate frog card template I'll post that as well. Best of luck!
